As companies demand more engaging training content and methods for increased learning retention, traditional workforce training ought to evolve. According to a 2022 PwC Metaverse Survey, 30% of 1,000+ companies plan on integrating virtual reality (VR) into their training curriculum. Why VR? It allows users to experience, interact with, and explore simulated yet “physically-real” environments.

From entertainment and gaming to education and business, VR can be leveraged in a multitude of ways. Companies can even use VR in Human Resources (HR) to train employees on new skills or effective communication. Check out these six big brands using VR for training.

It also helps them navigate through an unfamiliar store or give them the tools they need when processing customer purchases (e.g. from the cash register through checkout).
